Friends and co-workers gathered in the swing room at
Cathedral Station to congratulate Letter Carrier Rudolph Griffin for achieving
a combined 50 years of federal service––47 of those years being with the U.S.
Postal Service.
Manhattan Postmaster Robert Brown, Mgr. Human Resources
Vanessa Duncan-Smith and District Mgr. William Schnaars presented Griffin with
the customary 50 year pin, a thermal lined waist-length jacket, and a
beautifully framed piece featuring Griffin’s photo on a sheet of real USPS postage
stamps.
